Visual Identity

OVERVIEW

Celiz nail lab is a new online beauty business based in Hochiminh City specializing in nail art. Nail art has been treated as an accessory and a confidence booster for everybody, especially the ladies. With their exceptional skills, Celiz aims to provide outstanding sets of nail art that boost confidence and make people feel pretty. 


The primary target audience of Celiz is ladies who work in modeling, marketing, and other jobs that require them to be presentable most of the time. Hence, I chose a minimal and clean yet trendy approach that resulted in a recognizable brand identity. 

THE LOGO


PRIMARY LOGO: With the sophisticated san-serif typeface Ivy Mode and a stylized star replacing the letter “i”, this logo perfectly conveys Celiz’s vision of a modern and sleek image of the brand. 


SECONDARY LOGO: By combining the top of the letter “c” and the bottom of the letter “l”, as well as incorporating the stylized star, I designed a clean and recognizable secondary logo that serves as an alternative option for different uses.

THE COLOR PALETTE


I chose rich dark green and blue as the primary colors to express the sense of trustworthiness, power, and growth; meanwhile, the secondary complimentary colors: light mint green and grey-ish white bring out joy and enhance the trustability of the brand.

THE TYPEFACES


I selected a mix of inviting yet elegant typeface Cardo, with a modern san-serif Big Shoulder Display for the balance. Both typefaces support the Vietnamese language.
