OVERVIEW

For this project, I was tasked to create a packaging design for a laundry detergent company, specifically scent booster beads. Using wordplay to emphasize the brand’s main product scent booster beads, I came up with “Itty Beadies” to associate with the product.

With three popular scents: Rose, Lavender, and Cotton, Itty Beadies aims to provide their customers fresh and aromatic laundry. Itty Beadies believes that smelling good is a form of self-respect and self-care; hence, it is a pleasure for Itty Beadies to be a part of their customers’ journeys to self-love.

For each scent, I chose related elements to emphasize the fragrance of the beads. I created a logo using the letter “i”, and customized the tittle into a swirl symbolizing the rotation of the washing machine; then, I used the logo as a transparent window to create more appealing and eye-catching packaging.
